Welcome to Final Resolve's home.We are a Vanguard guild on the Xeth server.
If you are a member of the guild in game, but not yet a member of this community, please create a Guild Portal account (it is free) using your main character's name (preferably) and click the Join Final Resolve link in the banner up top. Once you've done that, please post a message in the General Forum asking for access (mention the name of your main if it differs from your Guild Portal user name) and we'll get you access as soon as possible.
If you are not a member of Final Resolve, welcome! Please feel free to browse the site and post in the Public section of our forum. Final Resolve is first and foremost a club founded by friends who like to play games together. Character progression and content experience are important considerations in MMOG's. However, for us they are meaningless if you don't truly enjoy the company of those you share them with. Final Resolve is not in a hurry, we compete only with the twisted minds of gaming developers. We definitely want to make the most out of Vanguard and explore everything the game has to offer, but we'll do it in our own time. You can read more about us under the Charter tab above.
“What will I do now?” asked Nellisandra to Marric, a great warrior known in Konarthi Point. “You must remain strong. Your mother and father believed you had greatness ahead of you in your life.”
Nellisandra tried to hold back the tears. “Without them here, I feel I have lost my way.”
Marric replied without hesitation, “I will take you on as my ward and apprentice. I will enable you to realize your potential in this dangerous world, just as your parents would have.”
Nellisandra hugged Marric who put a comforting hand on the back of her head. “Your mother and father were and will be proud of you, Nellisandra”.
Under Marric’s tutelage, Nellisandra grew into a fearsome and adept fighter. Her skill and handling of daggers impressed Marric. But her training and apprenticeship in Halgaard was not without problems. A pickpocket lurking in the shadows of Konarthi Point lured Nellisandra back with an offer of false riches and entitlement.
After wandering throughout Thestra with the pickpocket for a few months, Nellisandra realized her fate lied with Marric and his training. She returned to him to finish what she had begun, to finish what her parents dreamed for her. She earned the respect of the warrior elite in Halgaard including Marric by continuing to fight the Gnoll infestation in the Vault of Heroes and for the development of her unique and special fighting skills.
After Nellisandra had successfully concluded her apprenticeship, it was time for her to journey into the world of Telon.
“You have learned well, Nellisandra”, said Marric who was now just entering old age. “Your skills and abilities are ready for this perilous world, a world in need of help, a world in need of you.”
And so she departed Halgaard, uncertain at first but soon finding great friends and adventures in Telon - no friends greater than those in Final Resolve and no adventures greater than those in the Pantheon of the Ancients.
There is not an hour that passes that Nellisandra doesn’t think about that fateful day in Konarthi Point, the day she lost her mother and father. But her determination and quality of character have guided her through difficult times and helped her remain true to her calling.
SI’IMR-LI THE HARBRINGER HAS FALLEN AND CAN’T GET UP!
A whisper of refrained joy was uttered in the Blighted Lands for Si’imr-Li the Harbringer was callously disposed of by Final Resolve. But he did not succumb without an impressive skirmish. Drawing upon his great power, Si’imr-Li downed the entire raid almost instantly the first time they approached him. Even powerful healing and strong-willed combatants could not prevent that from occurring.
The second time, though, was different. Smurfete slinged a vicious barb at Si’imr-Li; he call him the nickname he absolutely despises, "Slim Jim". The taunt was just enough to distract “Slim Jim” while the brave band quickly brought him to his knees. It was a sight to see!
“Slim Jim” parted with many valuables, all desired by Final Resolve. The few to receive an item considered themselves lucky. Podge - Official Scribe of Final Resolve
FINAL RESOLVE SPOTLIGHT: KARELLA JUREEN As the skies of Old Targanor begin to grow inky indicating the descent of night, Karella Jureen, and some brave friends tread into this treacherous area. This is a place for seasoned adventurers and even then it is still dangerous. Karella knows damn well she shouldn’t be here; her adventuring skills are well below those of her companions. She understands her presence in Old Targanor could most certainly mean instant death.
A guildhall for Final Resolve was waiting to be built. Karella, already a Journeyman Crafter, was determined to uncover the last remaining bit of knowledge she needed to build the magnificent structure. And Old Targanor held the key. She tried to convince the Guild Leader, Eirnog, and some other guild mates that she needed this last scrap of information. Eirnog reluctantly agreed to help.
The group moves quietly but swiftly to the appointed area in Old Targanor. A foot snaps a twig. The undead that dot these ruins are almost immediately alerted. The brave band is swarmed. A ferocious fight ensues, the group trying to protect the much weaker Karella as she studies the cornerstone and brick configurations. Karella is battered and wounded several times, but keeps to the task at hand.
“Hurry up”, Eirnog implores. “Or we will all find our deaths here!”
Karella whispers to herself, “Just one more minute. I almost have it.”
She concentrates further, tuning out the mayhem around her. “I almost have it.”
And, without warning, Karella gains the knowledge she so fiercely sought against almost insurmountable odds. She beckons her comrades to move, to get out of Old Targanor while they still have the strength to fight. The group travels quickly to the edge of the ruins, leaving the undead fighters behind.
The end result of Karella’s determination was the first Final Resolve grand guildhall. It was a spectacular sight to behold!
Karella still has the same drive and dedication to crafting – her commitment has never wavered. And Final Resolve is much better off for it. Podge, Official Scribe of Final Resolve
